So I didn't post anything about it (though I meant to! really, I did!!) I had a fabulous surprise visit from some of my favorite people a couple weeks ago. Super last minute 3-4 hour drives for the win! Now this week, as in tomorrow, I'm returning the favor! (I was planning on going down anyway before they all showed up, but it sounds so reciprocal this way ^_^) So I'll be in Portland until late Monday! It will be super awesome!!

(not that the icon is appropriate or anything.....except that I LOVE that clip...and only recently uploaded some Supernatural icons finally. Look at my excuse, isn't it shiny?)

Con is finished! I'm back in my land of not super hot sunshine! (this is actually a really good thing as I caught quite a bit of sun just today and I wasn't even outside all that much!) And I'm almost not sick at all anymore! 24 hr bug for the win!!

Fanimecon was pretty awesome, though Musicfest was way more laidback in comparison to last year (though the apocalypse might have been more laidback than last year....). I met some new cool people, got to see other cool people again and infected everyone in my room with the evil 24hr cold. Awesomesauce, fear me and my infectious touch! Muahahahahahahaha!! At least they all get to be sick after con...though it still sucks because of other work of course.

Today was ezciting, and not in an especially good way...starting mid lunch I got this really strange aura. My entire world looked kinda like low-res video, majorly headache inducing and I couldn't read anything....a bit scary. And then, after getting back to the room, I started to feel like it might be a migrane coming on. WELCOME TO FANIME! Fortunatly I'm all back to normal now after a semi-involuntary nap and more food.

Lets hope tomorrow isn't quite as exciting...

One week (from yesterday) until load in on Living Dead in Denmark....still so much to do!

Also! Everyone who lives in the Seattle area, PAY ATTENTION!!! This is me plugging the show, you should all come and see it at some point! It's lots of fun ^___^

I will now copy/paste from the Producer's promo stuff:

Zombies, Shakespeare and martial arts collide in Living Dead in Denmark, the new show from the Pork Filled Players, playing May 1 to 24, at the Theatre Off Jackson (409 7th Ave. S. in Seattle's International District).

A post-apocalyptic Denmark faces an invasion of the living dead and only Lady Macbeth, Juliet and a really pissed off Ophelia can save it. Will they do or will they die (and maybe die again for good measure)? Catch the West Coast premiere of the long running New York hit play by Qui Nguyen (originally produced by Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company in May 2006, NYC), with original music by Dan Deming, and directed by Lisa Anne Glomb, with arrangements and orchestration by Brad Nelson.

A critical rave at the 2007 National Asian American Theatre Festival, Living Dead is the unauthorized action adventure sequel to Hamlet, fusing the immortal Bard with B-movie sensibility in a perfect kickoff for Asian Pacific Heritage Month.

Rated PG 13 for strong language, violence, affirmative action to zombie Americans and other attitudes offensive to neo-conservatives, Living Dead features Jose Abaoag (Sex in Seattle, Big Hunk O’ Burnin’ Love), Tadd Alexander, Bryan Bender, Deniece Bleha, Philip Clarke, Benjamin Elterman, Andrea Nelson, Marvin Newton, May Nguyen and Miko Premo (Sex in Seattle, Big Hunk O’ Burnin’ Love).

The creative team for Living Dead includes Maggie Lee (long time producer/writer/ tech master for PFP); fight choreographer Lisa Marie Nakamura (producer/creator for the long running Sex in Seattle series), costume designer Clare Hungate-Hawk, stage manager Jennifer O'Brien and production assistant Amy Lu, all overseen by producer Roger Tang (Godfather of Asian American theatre, according to A. Magazine).
Tickets are $15 general / $10 students/seniors and can be purchased online at www.ticketwindowonline.com (206/325-6500). Shows are at 8 pm, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations and more information are available at oink@porkfilled.com, www.porkfilled.com and 206/365-0282.

So ,yes, I expect everyone to come see it and then tell me what they thought ^_^
